Oakbank School offers a canteen service three days a week on Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays, providing a wide range of healthy cold and hot foods and to our students and staff. Our canteen is operated by Rory’s School Lunches, and order are taken via the QKR app, with limited selections of foods available over the counter.

Parent and Caregiver Involvement   

Oakbank School has a strong family atmosphere and we are keen to develop and maintain a good partnership between parents/caregivers, teachers and students. 

Parents and caregivers are invited to participate on governing council, or on any of the fundraising or volunteer programs operating in the school. 

Other opportunities for volunteering include: 

• Library
  Our library volunteers can learn library procedures and develop related computing skills at the same time. 
• Classroom Support
  We are always keen to hear from parents, caregivers who have an hour or two spare, to listen to students read, teach craft skills or discover other opportunities.

Please note that all regular volunteers require a Working With Children Check clearance. There may also be the need to complete Responding to Abuse and Neglect in Educational Care Centres training. 

Oakbank School has developed a partnership with the Woodside Primary OSHC service and students use our School Bus to travel from Woodside to Oakbank School in the morning.
